Day 173 Acidic Example-Exercise
Previously I mentioned that exhausting oneself with exercise can lead to an acidic condition. Last night I met an old Pharmacist friend of mine who related his obsession with his conversion to a Pritiken diet and extreme exercise. He ran 5 to 7 miles each morning and did the same after dinner augumented with 1-2 hours of gym work. On weekends he ran 10Ks and marathons. One day at work, he just stopped standing and had to be hospitalized. His doctors called it exhaustion from overdoing it. It was clearly an example of running your body into an acidic condition that finally put him down. To the point of exhaustion go, but no further. Be reasonable.
