Day 97 A Major Goof Up

This morning I woke up woozy. I felt weak and took my sugar. It was an extremely low 42. I immediately thought of the orange I had yesterday morning to increase my count. That was a big mistake. I have been used to feeling good throughout a fast. Feeling bad has a definite benefit during a fast. It means toxins are about to exit your body. Instead of toughing it out, I had two oranges and a bowl of granola to give me a boost. Worst thing I could have done. Eating does nothing more than stop elimination and switch the body's from its cleaning mechanism to digestion. I should not worry about low sugar counts I am not hypoglycemic. I don't need food when my count falls. I just need rest and let the body cleanse itself.

My blood sugar went up to 105 but my toxins were retained and another fast has to get rid of them. Strangely enough after working out this afternoon my count went down to 66, my weight went down to 190 but my waist balooned to 38. But we had a Labor Day Barbecue and I decided to temporarily break my fast. Big pig out.
