Day 142 Grain

I read somewhere grain is not easily digested and it is not an acceptable food for humans. I have no idea whether or not this is an urban legend but inasmuch as it takes approximately 500,000 years to convert a human system to normally assimilate a new food group, grain is unacceptable as it only has been eaten by humans for about 10,000 years. Of course this legend makes more sense than eating beef. Why eat beef to get your protein when cattle only eat grassses in creating that protein? Yes, the Garden of Eden was a garden of fruits and herbs (starchless vegetables). The rest of the food groups are Johnny-come-latelys.
