Day 199 Confused Digestion

As it turns out, certain foods trigger the particular stomach acid it needs to digest that type of food. When many different categories of food are ingested, stomach acid production gets confused. Thus the recommendation for eating one food at a time. And the need to understand combining foods. The juices necessary to digest citrus are different from thos e to digest proteins such as meat. Eggs and orange juice are part of the American breakfast, but they are not good stomach companions.
